Find out more about the future of healthcare in your community
Are you registered at Chineham, Clift, Hook or Hartley Wintney GP surgeries? We are putting on a free community event with your local GP practices on 12 June, to explore what's happening in healthcare in the area. With a growing and ageing population we need to be flexible and adaptable to change, and we'd really value your input in the conversation about how we can do that.
Local GPs, including Dr Ward from Clift Surgery, Dr Hutchings from Hook Practice and Dr Marston and Dr Cooper from Chineham Practice, are helping to host the event and be on hand to answer your questions. They'll also each be giving a short talk on their key subjects – like paediatrics, clinical pharmacy and obesity. You can read the full agenda for the evening here.
You'll also get the chance to meet with representatives from all kinds of different local organisations that can help you stay well, including:
- The Red Cross
- Connect to Support Hampshire
- Basingstoke Park Run
- Andover mind
- Age Concern
- Weight Watchers
- Diabetes UK
You can also find out all about the NHS's long-term plans and what primary care networks mean for you. All with free parking and tea and coffee!
You don't need tickets to attend and are welcome to just to turn up on the night. However, to help us anticipate the number of guests we can expect, we'd really appreciate it if you could mark your attendance on our Facebook event. Even better if you can share it with your friends!
